Sunday Supper is the new collection from Sweetwater for Moda, inspired by how we spend our Sundays. Their stating point was blue and white plates being used to eat your Sunday roast from, giving them the navy and white colourway above. To ramp the colour up they added in green, yellow and turquoise colourways and then a taupe colourway for more neutral projects.
This collection has lots of geometric blenders in it, a multi design print incorporating several of the other designs, a cutlery print and a great text print with lines from the Amazing Grace song in it. You can also get these fabrics in the full range of Moda pre-cuts too.
What amazes me is according to their blog they designed this whole range of 40 prints in just 48 hours! That’s right only 2 days! They originally had a different concept in mind but couldn’t get it to work so 2 days before the deadline they scrapped it and came up with Sunday Supper.
Sunday Supper will be available in shops worldwide from the end of March (apart from the UK, we’ll get it in April).
